Could not be a bigger fan of this! The site is currently a surface lot in an area of downtown that has little foot traffic. This hotel would add density and some life to a quieter part of the CBD.

And nice to see downtown getting the attention of Hyatt - maybe a Hyatt or Hyatt Regency one day?

Nice. That will have some incredible views from the rooftop too. Wonder why there is a such a large gap between it and the exiting building next door.

I'm not sure that the gap is very large. I think the rendering is a bit tapered to make the building seem less blocky. look at the gap at the sidewalk level- its about the right size for a garage opening.

I looked at the pdf. It looks like just an access alley for bike storage etc. Nothing wrong with it, I'm just used to buildings going up inches from existing buildings. That's a very attractive design, the colors of the brick look nice and will fit in well with the quality hill area.

The development tracker pdf isn't readable on my device apparently. Would anyone mind sharing any pictures/info from it?

Not sure about the grey brick veneer. Why not red brick as traditional garment district?

The best render was already posted. 13 floors, 2 restaurants, 0 car parking, 3 short term bike parking, 7 long term bike parking. Expected completion 2020, groundbreaking 2019. The siding is gray brick veneer.

Edit: I missed it the first time i looked, but it seems that one of the restaurants will be a Roasterie.

Will also have 4 street trees.

From the renderings is appears there will be rooftop amenities, so let's assume yes.

Also, ZERO CAR PARKING.

To be clear though, these guys own a lot caddycorner from the building that they plan to build an *automated* garage on, from what I've been told.

Grey looks so bad on buildings. How did that even become a trend? Smh
