Is this hotel open? I don't see that it is online anywhere. If it's not, we are looking for an interesting place to stay in downtown on Sunday night. (coming in for the Chiefs game). Any ideas?

Hotel Indigo in the Crossroads opens Thursday, Sept. 20. It's the former Kansas City Costume Company building on Grand south of 20th Street.

^ nice, forgot about that place. Hotels in downtown KC pretty full all week.

Crossroads Hotel opens Oct. 17.

Seems to be open for business? We have reservations next week, hoping the bars and restaurants are up and running.

Bar and bar food (pizzas, etc) are available. Lots of work still going on. Ask for a tour of the rooms. Art should be going in soon. Stunning space.

It is quite the beautiful hotel. Great design aspects and use of space. Service is a bit spotty, but to be expected at this stage of their roll out.

Lobby/bar area is serving breakfast/lunch/dinner, not sure about the last two, but breakfast was quite good.

Italian restaurant is scheduled to be open next week with their grand opening, no rooftop bar until next spring.

Doorman said Lazia is due to open tomorrow (Friday). Rooftop deck will be opening “soon”. Lots of activity today with several group checking in.

The Lazia grand opening is a tad delayed. They called needing to cancel our Friday night reservations. So we will be trying out XR instead.
