some friends are staying at this place so i had a chance to see a room and the common areas. it's all very nice inside, but doesn't make up for the horrendous ground-floor experience. looks like they're still working on the "east wing" guest rooms as it was all blocked off. front desk said they were fully booked last weekend.

that project wouldn't be allowed in that form if it were proposed today. it's amazing how quickly things have changed.

Ironically that's the streetcar they damaged during construction.
