I like how they didn't try to make it look old to match the old building.

If anyone has a current photo of the the "46 Penn Centre" development -- I'd really appreciate a look-see.

I am not back into KC-land until later summer. :(

Brings a new texture downtown, which is a nice variation. Though are the blank wall parts staying stripped concrete?

I think the concrete is the finished product. I really like the new color and texture! Not everything needs to match!

Wasn't implying a match but something else covering bland concrete walls.

Are those blank concrete walls the final product or something going over them? Not exactly appealing. I like the texture of the metallic building otherwise but too bad the short building is such a waste for the prime property along streetcar line.

The concrete has a texture that mimics that of the metal, not saying it's defensible, but when you're right there it doesn't seem that bad. Obviously transparency would be ideal.

Someone is going to be pissed someday when Lead Bank demolishes their current building and puts up a 10-story office building blocking those side windows.
