* The south facade where the ballroom is located is shaping up to be a better streetlevel experience than I feared.
* The ped bridge appears to be very low. BTW can we get a sidewalk open soon?
* the drive and future porte-cochère look to be turning into a nice space.
Is it just me or did they use multiple types of glass to break up some of the monotony of the glass sides?

I didn't notice. I do like the jutting out portions on the south side where the ballroom space is. That did help break up that wall

I think the designers really messed up on the narrow south end of the tower. For some reason instead of continuing the floors straight to the top, they set back the last 3 floors to line up with the service elevator core. It awkwardly destroys the symmetry as there are no windows on the corner of the elevator shaft. With no window there is more masonry and the faux stone on the floors below the setback has its own problems. The precast panels look really pre-fab as they just seem to float on top of the glass.

It perfectly matches the exceedingly infuriating elevator shaft-induced asymmetry of the Power and Light Building's upper floors

Whats going on with the cladding for the elevator core on the inside elbow of the building? I assumed they would just slap some more of the pre-cast on it, but that would have gone on quick and without scaffolding.

Glass Wall Lobby looks good.

Staircase is going in.

Any idea what will eventually outline these windows?

Work has started on the meeting spaces walls. Wood is placed before drywall in areas of wall that are load bearing. For example, one may see a display attached to this wall area eventually.

No ceilings yet.

Outdoor deck?

Hampster Tube is alarmingly low to the ground.

For those not in KC, this photo helps to give you an idea of the height of the Loews garage/ballroom area.

Almost ready to erect the Loews signage.

I love that bump out on Baltimore. Seems it will really bring some activity to street level on Baltimore which is mostly being ignored and used for loading dock space.

I'm very disappointed with the street level thus far. Hoping things improve as the project is completed with landscaping and the "chef-driven" restaurant.

It's because the building is backwards. Only a cap will save it. Everything facing north should be facing south. 16th and Baltimore are both horrible.

I know I'm probably being optimistic but it feels like the Baltimore construction side is getting cleaned up for reopening of the street and sidewalk?

The project is on track to open in March according to Jonathan Tisch.

5 more floors would of been nice. That's my main complaint.
