Welcome to the new forum!

Post by bahua »

We are never going back to SMF, FYI. The hate I feel for SMF blinds me.

We are still working to get things back to normal, but this is the forum's new look, more or less.

Bitch and moan here!

Will I be able to see hyphens and apostrophes? I'm not talking dashes and single quotes, here, but the real deal.

I feel some of my best work was done the last two days and now it's gone. It is apparent that my comments about sales being more important than IT has angered the gods.

Is it possible to add a "mark all topics as read" button on the unread posts page?

Looks good thanks for your efforts.

Anybody know if there is a mobile view or can get a mod like this installed? http://phpbb-mobile.com/

yeah, would also like a wap or mobile equivalent template.

hmmm, not able to edit older messages.

edit: test.. note the edit count... that should be removed as it's distracting.

As we are not php gods, I very seriously doubt it can be removed without big trouble. -b

I suppose avatars are an unnecessary luxury, but are they available now, or will they be?

I'll see if I can pull the smileys over. I'm still getting used to the new options and administrative stuff, myself.

There is the implication that you can use IMG in your signature, but when I tried I got a message "Impossible to determine size of image"

Actually you should be able to. Others who use this software were able to remove it, at least the counter. Is distracting to see it. Should be a software setting somewhere.

I tried to upload an 80x57, 64k avatar, but got this message:

"The avatar’s filesize must be between 0 and 6 KiB."

I guess I'll have to stick with the 0k avatar that's there now. :D
