Can someone please explain to me the attraction in getting a high post count?

I don't come here to compete nor to raise my posting numbers. In fact, it is kind of an embarrassment to me to know I've wasted so much time arguing on an internet forum. But that's just me.

i thought at one point in time paintfumes would hit 10k by now, all posts bitching about kerry duffin or whatever his name was, but he was banned. real heartbreaker.

I think my posting will go down dramatically when I get a new, more productive job. I think I average a great deal of posts per day. Notice, I don't post much on the weekends or evenings

You have an average of 12 posts per day and KCmax has about eight.

we are all like that when we are new, this forum is like cocaine at times. you go through these spurts when you post 25 times a day and times when you forget about it for a week

Then there are those times when you're out of town for a week, and you log on to find 5 or 6 pages of unread topics since your last visit. I just say fuck it and mark all topics read....even though I feel a bit out of the loop.
