Database Crash - forum downtime

The execute permissions were removed on the forum's index.php file. "chmod 000 index.php" for those of you that lean technically.

Perhaps its just me but it seems the front page is a bit broken today.

Had some trouble myself, but I was able to get on the mobile.  Thank god.

didn't have any trouble  with todays logon in,but a couple days ago I had to come in on a bookmark and bypass the front page.

earlier this morning, i could not get kcrag. now obviously it is fine. got that groovy screen telling you the 3 things that could be wrong. here is what is wrong.........the fucking webpage did not come up. duh.

I am only having issues with the rag and coming in through a T1.  Based on the massive colapse in posting the last couple days, I would say the site is having some issues.

I have not noticed any problem at all. I use DSL over Verizon phone lines in Virginia.

The server had an outage last week, and in the repairs, the admins changed my home directory without telling me. We got it all ironed out.

It's just nice that there hasn't been an actual database crash in ages. Those were a suck.

I couldn't get the front page to load earlier but had no problem if I went straight to the forum.

It was just taking forever to load for me today.  I got that generic Wordpress screen that I've seen many times over the years.

So....no.  I can't elaborate.  Sorry!

I saw some slowness earlier today and then my avatar disappeared.    That's ok, it was time for a new one anyway.
