You know it's Spring in Kansas City when you're under a Winter Storm Warning.

According to this site - Snow is expected in KC on Thursday night - Friday morning (May 2-3). I lived in KC for a very long time but cannot recall snow in May. I remember a couple of early season baseball snow outs in April and a very cold concert at Arrowhead in June that ruined the show, but I do not recall any snow past April.

It hasn't snowed in KC in May since May 3, 1907, apparently.

Sure looks slick. I will stay inside and take your word for it though. I'm too clumsy for this kind of weather. :D

I shot this video this morning. Unfortunately the snow did not start quite as early as I thought it might--but dawn is pretty cool.

Anybody keeping up with the Snow-Truthers claiming this snow is manufactured by the government?
People whom I formerly respect are showing up in my Facebook feed believing this snow is the product of chemtrails and conspiracies.
One of them happens to be a local biz owner whom I won't besmirch here but won't be eating at their place anytime soon.
It's just fucking ponderable.

in stl we often miss out on the core of so many snowstorms due to always catching the southern edge of these NE moving weather events. im weirdly jealous. kc seems to always get nailed.

So many people I used to think were normals are showing frayed edges.

I'm near to wearing out my ponderer.

That's a new one to me. Is it the "the snow turns black when you burn it" or the "the snow won't melt" crowd? (I had to google both of those)

I'd be intrigued how the government manages to have so much money that it can somehow hide machines in the clouds to make fake snow.

ignoring the snow logic, the rest is seriously missing any sense of reality
