According to the Charlie Brown movie I watched last night with my kids, Snoopy has a sister Belle in Kansas City.

The case on Criminal Minds this week took place in KCMO. Appears one of the female characters is from KC with her father a retired police captain and her brother currently a homicide detective. Rather generic with a KC background except for drug buys along Prospect Ave. and BBQ, in particular ribs. One character is a vegan so she was only interested in the sides. Didn't mention which one BBQ joint food was from with the party at the end.

In last night's episode of The Simpsons, Comic Book Guy had an issue of Radioactive Man Meets the Kansas City Royals on display in his store. I didn't realize that it's shown up before in the show.

Now, if only the Royals would have a Radioactive Man day sometime during the season...if Fall Out Boy isn't doing anything, maybe they could have a pregame concert, too.

I wonder if there is a fan on the writing staff, or they just like taking pot shots. A few seasons ago, there was an empty bookstore gag where the only book left was "Kansas City Royals: Forever Champions"

any place on these shows is obviously doing poorly to begin with and are on the edge of closing

the secret to a good show is apparently to clean before they film. at the very least you don't want a camera finding rat droppings or old food. then you can play it as a business issue

The new season of House of Cards involves a wealthy St. Louis businessman who does business with an Indian casino owner in Kansas City. The plot takes the VP's Chief of Staff to that KC casino. But it has a sportsbook! Where in Missouri is that legal?

The Bachelor will be coming to KC next episode as the girls take the Bachelor home to meet the parents. One of the finalists is a nurse here.

Gross. Those are the 2 worst shows I've ever seen an episode, or in the case of "The Bachelor" several minutes of an episode, of.

The ABC Family series, Switched at Birth, shows images of Kansas City on their episode promotions.

The show is about two teens switched at birth from very different backgrounds. One lives with a wealthy family in Mission Hills, Kansas, and the other grew up in Riverside, Missouri.

Where is an Indian casino in KC other than the WyCo one?

The only Indian casino in MO is in Seneca.

Also, in HoC, the Kansas City Congressman is the House Majority Leader. That sure would be nice for us.

I don't recall that, but I'm only like 3 episodes in to season 2.

I'd heard about this show, but for some reason I didn't realize it was set in KC. I watched the first half-hour of the pilot on Netflix. Evidently the dad of the Mission Hills family used to play 3rd base for the Royals. Hmmmm . . .

Haha is ol' George in that show? I would love to see him play a dad in some ABC Family show.

Well, I don't know if the character is supposed to be George or not. But seeing as how the most famous Royal ever is a third baseman, it doesn't seem like it would be a coincidence.
