Rag Headquarters
Hey so when are we going to officially form a secret society and facilitate change. We could be a sort of new freemasons. I'm trying to find out whether or not I should start taking saturdays off

Re: Rag Headquarters
The secret headquarters is below the exact center of the triangle made by connecting the centerpoint of the three highest occupied buildings downtown in 1998 based on number of jobs.
Walk up, find the secret button that reveals the control pad. Take the joystick and mimic the movement of the streetcar at rush hour, pausing at each stop and for traffic as appropriate. This will enable the screen where you need to answer the question "How do you increase development downtown in a capitalist society without needing incentives" and "the total number of net jobs lost to Kansas since 1975" and scan your membership card.
The doorway will reveal itself.

Oh shit I thought it was that hidden passageway beneath the proposed twin of the power and light building. It has a big red button that blows up surface parking lots... whose lair have I been using???

Re: Rag Headquarters
Could we revise this to "outside of a command economy"? Some of us (or maybe just me) are okay with markets but not market-driven societies and see the urbanist drive in the 21st century as eventually and necessarily intersecting with struggles for environmental responsibility and an increase in quality of life for all while still having a libertarian socialist drive expressed through spontaneous and organic markets.flyingember wrote: "How do you increase development downtown in a capitalist society without needing incentives"
Also I'm still waiting for my new members card. What gives???

Don't know where to post this, so this is it. Congratulations to the Ragger whose face graces the current issue of the Rolling, oh, I mean the KCBJ, and who is featured in a profile therein. Very cool. From what I observe from afar, you deserve it.

Gotta give the smiling man next to the ribs much deserved praise.
He's relentless, smart and goal-focused for the public good.
A lot to emulate there.
