Does anyone know offhand how many floors (i.e was there a 7th floor) the Kansas City Life Insurance Bldg had? It was built in 1924 and was on 35th-ish and Broadway. Weird question, I know, but I am trying to work out if someone had an office at "704" in that building or if maybe it was actually the New York Life Bldg downtown.

It's still there. No "was" about it.

And it's nowhere near tall enough for 7 floors. Looks like it's 4 floors tall.

New York Life is 12 stories tall

Thanks, that's what I thought, too. I have a feeling they may have had an office BRIEFLY in the New York Life Bldg and this piece of mail in our archive was mis-addressed. Thanks for your help, I found photos of the KC Life Bldg and it didn't look like it had enough floors in the photo.

It just struck me that I've been volunteering at KC CARE Clinic for 8 years and it's literally right across the street from this building. LOLOLOLOL
