The best one was Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds at "the loft"? 6th/central? 1985. And lucky for us you can still see the pedaljets!

It was upstairs in 616 Central above Paris Neon.

Interesting. Was it around long? I think that was the only show listed there in all those back issues.

That's awesome. They're playing Friday night at the Folk Alliance, but I'll only be there Saturday.

Has anyone been to this event before? It sounds like a pretty unique way to see a lot of great music. A friend of mine stumbled upon Sturgill Simpson a few years ago at this event. I can't wait.

I suspect this news will be met with a shrug by most of you swells & sportos but I find this development bothersome. It's like a plot for an 80's high school comedy. Sports shouldn't have cultural hegemony in midtown. This isn't fuckin' Boston, or Olathe ...yet.
