I'm not sure what you mean. You can see many photos at once by selecting a city or doing a search of whatever you are looking for. You can also add photos to the lightbox and then choose them from there.

For example

Can you elaborate more? I'm good with this type of feedback, trust me :).
Perhaps I'm just being picky. But I'd like to see a grid with smaller thumbnails to view more photos faster. Kind of like on Flickr or something like that. I think I'm just being picky. I just want to look at ALL the KC photos, but don't have the patience to get through 500+ pictures...but if I could view 50 at a time...

I would suggest adding the Mutual Musicians Foundation to the Jazz District section.

http://jazz-clubs.findthebest.com/l/131 ... Foundation

In the River Market section, I would add street views of Delaware and Walnut storefronts.

In the performing arts/theater section, I would add an exterior of the Folly Theater.

In entertainment districts, I would add Zona Rosa in the Northland.

I would suggest adding these to the museum section:

the Toy and Miniature Museum,
the National Agriculture Hall of Fame,
the National Frontier Trails Museum,
the Vaile Mansion,
the Bingham-Waggoner Estate,
the John Wornall House,
Missouri Town 1855
Fort Osage, Sibley, MO

http://vailemansion.org/Welcome.html

http://www.bwestate.org/

http://wornallhouse.org/

http://www.jacksongov.org/missouritown/

I would add a section called Regional Attractions that include:

Hall of Waters, Excelsior Springs

http://www.visitesprings.com/Visitor_Center.html

http://www.elmshotelandspa.com/index.php

Parkville, Missouri

http://www.parkvillemo.org/

Weston, Missouri

http://westonmo.com/entertainment/attractions.html

Liberty, Missouri

http://historicdowntownliberty.org/

Lexington, Missouri

http://www.visitlexingtonmo.com/index.cfm?Page=Home

Leavenworth, Kansas

http://www.lvarea.com/

Frontier Army Museum

http://www.ffam.us/

One might consider adding photos and links to the major hotels, and regional bed and breakfasts.

Maybe because they're free from local politics and the financial support that gets tied up with them? They can focus on the current and cool rather than having to respond to clout?

Yes, it's strange. About two years ago, I contacted Union Station saying they should feature the National Archives on their web site, since it's a tenant, and have a link to it. A reply said it was a fantastic idea, but nothing ever came from it. Around that time, the National Archives was running some sort of interesting exhibit.

the archives has a new exhibit every few months. it's a tiny space for the exhibit but they do try to use it well

Probably because it's all written by one guy that lives in KC.

Just FYI, the Federal Reserve Bank of KC is not a government structure, nor is it a significant government employer. The great majority of the people who work there are either contractors or direct employees of the Bank itself.

Best thing to do in KC is to bike it!
Rent 'em or buy some refurb'ed from 816 Bike Collective!
The thrifts will sell you any busted-ass bike for $$$.
816 makes 'em road-ready for about the same price as thrift/craigslist, fact.

I was just talking to a co-worker about biking from Olathe all the way to downtown. There really isn't any way to do that efficiently, much less safely. Would be extremely cool to take a day to ride the 20 miles up, tour the city, mid town and westport, and wherever else, then ride back. Oh well....

Old KC Road to Marshall Drive to Merriam Lane should get you most of the way. Likely a few odd connections here or there.

really? Because that's actually one of the few doable safe bike routes across the city. There's very few places in KC which can get to midtown on bike without large amounts of time on road and have it be as direct.

Get to Indian Creek trail where it's roughly at Santa Fe at South Mur-Len. this takes you all the way to Holmes Road in KC in almost a straight line.
Then you go north on Holmes to the Trolley Track Trail which gets you all the way to UMKC.

Are they ever going to link those?

who's they?

the trolley trail is owned by the KCATA
the Indian Creek trail, KCATA
the land inbetween by the land bank, city, county, the us government, a railroad and a school district

I thought there was a "plan" to connect the 2. Don't really know who the "they" is or even should be. The bike gods? Did I not ask the question in the right way for you?
