Hey friends,
Haven't been around much with lots of stuff going on with work, but I wanted to share a site (associated some folks I'm friendly with) that I think y'all would be interested in. It's called Neighborland.
Basically it's a place for people to talk to each other about what projects, places, or ideas would make a city better. They've got a great blog too if you're interested in keeping up on this landscape: http://handbook.neighborland.com/
Anyways, have a look. They're great people and I think most of you would love to participate. I use it frequently in SF. They're not live in KC yet-- hopefully soon!

Getting a bit fun on there for KC now-- great to see some familiar faces.
Very cool to see the thread about biking classes @dangerboy jumping in there...

So is this kinda like KCMOmentum?
Re: Neighborland
that's exactly what i thought when I was looking at the site.mean wrote:So is this kinda like KCMOmentum?
Is there something different about it? KCMOmentum also actually go directly to the city (and is even administered by the city i blieve?). Why would we need another site like that? if its just a place to discuss development then it seems like it is just trying to duplicate what we do here on the KCrag. maybe i'm missing something?
