Kansas income tax receipts were $8,700,000 over projections for the month of March according to a release from the Kansas Department of Revenues.
However they were not high enough to make up for the shortfall from oil and gas severance, corporate income and sales taxes as the total March tax receipts ended up $11.2 million below expectations.
