KCK and KCMO are neck and neck?  Seems odd.  Which one is way high or way low compared to last year?

How can there be only 19-20 in the entire metro when KCK has 11 and KCMO has 12 for a grand total of 23 (not to mention any homicides in the burbs).  Am I interpreting something wrongly here?

Entire Metro is everything outside of KCMO, so this would include KCK, County, Independence, Shawnee, Olathe, etc, etc

What is the purpose of the thread?  You are treating people who are murdered as stats.  You offer no meaningful conversation for improving things.  It's utterly pathetic.  And you bring it up every other day for eternity?  

Let it go.  If you want to improve things, get involved.

I am getting involved; i am the block captain on my street, i'm involved on my neighborhood association, i volunteer with big brother/big sisters, what more do you want me to do?

The purpose of this thread is to show people that homicides are not confined to one particular area of this city and it's also quite possible that homicide numbers this year are following a national trend in which poverty and more crimes are moving out of the anchor cities and spreading throughout entire metros.  We are seeing this kind of trend in places like LA and it's already been well established in the suburbs of Paris.

If you do not want to look at this thread, you don't have to read it, i don't think i'm violating anything on this thread, please let me know if i am.
