What was your job in "Exchange City"?
Had this conversation over the weekend. If you grew up going to a KC school, you know what I'm talking about.
I was a newspaper reporter. READ ALL ABOUT IT! KIDS HAPPY AT EXCHANGE CITY!

Awesome! I loved Exchange City. I was the Bank President, made the most money, but got arrested 3 times for walking on the grass. My parents were so proud!

I was so disappointed in not getting to be the DJ that I actually don't even remember.

Managed the restaurant, slingin' popcorn and soda-pop. I, too, wanted to be the DJ pretty badly.

I think I was either a banker or an accountant... what ever they called it, I typed out everyones checks on a "computer" Needless to say the girl I had a crush on got a raise that day... I bought a Kansas city Chiefs Ring Toss game from the Sports Store, flirted with the judge to let me out of my ticket for walking on the grass, and STILL make fun of my friends who bought single clip-on earrings and thought they were so cool.

I want to go back now.
Re: What was your job in "Exchange City"?
Bank President. I remember having so much money that I couldn't get it all spent. Wish I still had that problem.
Re: What was your job in "Exchange City"?
I was an industrial magnate=warehouse manager. Had no idea what the hell that job would entail when I got it, but it turned out to be surprisingly lucrative...we were the only organization that didn't have to pay back a "start-up" loan to the bank and all other businesses' were forced to buy their materials from us. Being in charge of a monopoly has its advantages....by the end of it I was just cutting checks out of the profits to myself and friends. Gotta love a rigged system!

Coincidentally, I had the exact same conversation Saturday night. Ahh, memories.KCMax wrote: Had this conversation over the weekend. If you grew up going to a KC school, you know what I'm talking about.
I was a bookeeper at the bank. I had to balance check books, or something. I made good money, but for a 5th grader, it was basically the worst job in the place.
