The RenFest might have to move soon. Wyco owns their land and has put it out for development proposals, hoping to cash in on the increased value of property around the speedway. Looks like Clay County has already started the local jockeying for position to snare this one.

Smithville lake could be a great location, but the county would need to improve several roads to handle the crowds. I'd like to see it at Fleming Park, which is more centrally located, already has infrastructure, and would complement the nearby Missouri Town 1855.

I agree, Fleming Park would be the best place. I would like the Ren Fest to remain in a wooded location.
