With the rumors that arena plans will be announced soon, what league would you like the city to go after?

Go after all of it, but the new arena is said to be more feasible without a major league tennant taking all the revenue it generates. Most new teams (NHL, NBA) take everything dime an arens produces.

I say NHL. If it isn't college basketball, it's not basketball.

Although, it's more likely that an NBA team would move/expand here. The NBA says that Charlotte will get another team, so to keep an even amount of teams, it has to add one more with Charlotte...

Anyway, my preference is NHL...

(Just think of the rivalries. St. Louis, Minnesota, Dallas, Colorado)

I agree, as an NHL fan and an Avs and Blues fan (unless we get a team) I would love to have NHL in kc. I was just saying go for everything and take what you can get, but NHL would be by far my first choice. I might go to an NBA game or two, but have not interest in that really. I do think that KC is more of an NBA town than NHL although a new team from neither would be successful in a new arena etc.
