River Cleanup September 13th

FYI, on September 13th Missouri River Relief will hold a huge project to cleanup the Missouri River and part of the Kaw. They are looking for 1,000 volunteers to help cleanup the river from Parkville to Sugar Creek.

This is a great opportunity experience the river first hand, and help improve the area for the upcoming Lewis and Clark celebrations.

I called them fools several months ago when the article first appeared in the Star and volunteered my wife and myself. They never called me back...there loss.
