Re: GO ROYALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There are something like 50 over-the-air stations live in KC right now. Put the Royals on any of those and start building a regional network again.

Re: Plaza move-ins (ongoing)
Was there an actual announcement they are closing for good, or just a assumption because of the shooting.

Re: Downtown Baseball Stadium
Just got a survey from Jackson County on why I voted yes or no. All the questions were about the Royals. Personally thought the Chiefs proposal was just as bad for the same reasons. Ambiguity on how the tax money was specifically being spent. Someone said further up. Show me a budget. Mr. Taxpayer, ...

Re: New Chiefs Stadium
If KS is able to put together a proposal to build the Chiefs a brand new modern stadium, how is MO going to compete with that? Would they be able to? And if MO somehow does find a billion or more dollars for the Chiefs, what happens to the Royals? Is MO going to come up with money for two new stadi...

How do you know it was even her? FB is notorious for fake accounts. I cannot imagine someone in that position making a tone deaf post like that the day after an election even if it accurately portrays the most likely scenario. Why don’t you just go look for yourself? Search her name. Friends with t...

Re: Downtown Baseball Stadium
unfortunately neither team will work with Jackson County again. They had been working behind the scenes for two years attempting to get a location approved. Which was I think Frank Whutes plan all along. In any case most unfortunate for sports fans in KC. The lack of leadership has lost the city tw...

Re: Downtown Baseball Stadium
If the vote fails the Chiefs announce a new stadium in Village West (maybe a combined Sporting/Chiefs stadium). Royals come back with a fully baked plan that gets the full 3/4 tax over 20 years and say, "We want to stay, but look what happened with the Chiefs". Vote passes. Maybe just a KC...

Re: Alleyways
My suburban style, JC Nicols neighborhood south of the plaza doesn't have alleyways, and it didn't have driveways until the late 1930's. I have always assumed the plan was to walk up from the Trolly Trail, but no one driving or riding seems unlikely. I'd love to see some pics from the 1910s/20s to s...

Re: Downtown Baseball Stadium
I think it will pass. And I want it to pass so that we get the important part here (the Royals going downtown). But I just can't get over how pathetic than Chiefs proposal was. It's just downright embarrassing. Idc what DCole says, that proposal is shitty for everyone. It is totally unbefitting of ...

Re: Downtown Baseball Stadium
I’m a little nervous today. Wish we had live coverage and exit polling! I saw KCTenants were up to their lies last night. They were continuing to push the idea that this is a new tax. Belaboring the point. This is a new tax. We passed a 20 year tax that is set to expire. This reNEWS it with 40 more...

The reason I get so long winded in here, is because it's about the only place to have legit debates on the topics at hand with other intelligent people. Sure, you have the occasional fools who share deepfake videos, but it's nothing compared to the literal low intelligence folks who seem to dominat...

Yeah it simply cannot fit between the current curblines of Grand and Oak. Just not happening for an MLB level park. Heck Tmobile struggled to fit in that same width. HAHAHAHAHA, Tmobile literally has a parking lot between the arena and Oak. bro, I needed that laugh.... HAHAHAHAHA I think he meant t...

Re: Downtown Baseball Stadium
It's sold out, so I guess it's popular?
Also we got the fan vote to win the cental. MLB Central had a couple of commentators pick Bobbo Whitt Jr to win AL MVP and Cole Ragans to win AL Cy Young.
I wouldn't bet any money on any of those things but I would take the over on 74.5 games.
