I still don't quite understand what you mean by "bolder". I don't mean to be dense, I just want to get a better idea of your thoughts. The silver ones just blend into the background. They're timid. They don't say "It took this city decades to build this damn thing, and OMG we're pret...

I had some last week at Westside Local. I thought it was really tasty. Nice minty flavor on top of the tripel base.taxi wrote:Has anyone tried the tripel julep?
I'd be curious to know if it is still around anywhere. Westside Local is out.

I suggested that they avoid any use of color, so as to minimize maintenance (which typically means shabby and in need of maintenance). Keep it simple and neutral and cheap(er). In the future, when there are beaucoup streetcar lines, that require differentiation, then stick a big blue, pink, red or ...

5. bourgeois pig in lawrence (intimate, cool, and has the bonus of serving liquor as well - KC needs a place like this) Does Quay Coffee have a liquor license yet? I thought they were trying to get one. I believe the Opera House has a liquor license. Wait, is Quay Coffee trying to get a liquor lice...

I imagine each stop to be somewhat bare bones on account of the line's frequency. Because people won't be hanging out for >10 minutes I think extra benches, etc. aren't really necessary. Just a spot to get out of the rain perhaps.

walnut is now 2-way all the way from 5th to 20th. charlotte is now 2-way from 8th to 11th (the rest will come with additional funding). 14 street is now 2-way from wyandotte to broadway. baltimore comes later this month. what should be next? 7th/8th? the east part of 10th? holmes? 10th seems like a...

an online survey about station shelter design will be available on the project website friday. there are five options to choose from. Maybe it's just me but I'm a little underwhelmed at the options, some of which seem little better than a bus stop. Can you elaborate some? I'd be interested to hear ...
