Well, let's just say that the City won't be on the hook for Sprint Center payments this year.

I don't know if I've ever seen anything about those pools, or that club, in any of the books I've seen. Can't find anything on the KC Library site about them either.

Was there ever a school near the pools?  Many of the pools in Wyandotte County were part of the school system there.

How do you tell them to get to Wal-Mart or Best Buy?  Take their own car?

Maybe volunteers should start talking up the WWI Museum more.  Most people have come away impressed with it.  It's also pretty easy to get to for most people staying in hotels.  Especially with the techology utilized in the exhibits.

This question is for volunteers.  Are you getting feedback from visitors as to where they are going when not at the tournament?  Are they hitting certain entertainment districts (Crown Center, Westport, 39th St., Plaza), the museums, the zoo, etc?  What seems popular?  Are they going to the WWI Muse...

KMBC Channel 9 News reported that, after the Big 12 Tournament ends, the Sprint Center will have earned enough thus far this year to retire the debt on the sports arena for the year.

All those tall buildings are just too attractive for terrorists to ignore. Especially if one of them is occupied by a Western conglomerate.

It would be interesting to see if the attendence of Bodies has spiked this week.
