I’m thinking EV to P&L can be connected. I understand the disconnected arguement but I also think people are a lot more open to walking today. Crown Center wasn’t a part of downtown but now it is for example.

Generally a DCOLE and P&L supporter.
However, how you talk about this stadium is how many talked about P&L vs.Westport

It’s existed for such a long time that it’s hard to build excitement. It’s also a further drain from the core

Re: Downtown Baseball Stadium
I'll wait to see plans. Remember that power and light started to open in 2008? They didn't build a residential tower until 2014ish? And they're heavily subsidized. The area surrounding it are still all parking lots. Things go much slower than you think and you have to have plans in place or owners ...

Re: Centene's East Coast Headquarters in Charlotte
The level of local impact may depend on how they define 'remote' working policy. If remote means 'work from home within STL market' then potentially not as bad economically as truly 'work from anywhere' (Cerner leans more of the latter). Either way clearly not good for the office market - and they'...

Re: Plaza move-ins (ongoing)
An urban format McDonalds would absolutely get a ton of traffic if they tried it. This isn’t JoCo. i mean...this has been tried. there was a mcdonald's on the plaza for many years, where noodles & co (?) is (was?) now, next to the defunct movie theatre. I was thinking more downtown. But as long...

We aren’t opposed to the actual restaurant of Winsteads or mcDonalds. We just want urban format stores instead, not drive thru’s. Especially not in key locations like next to our city’s biggest transit station. Like the new Taco Bell cantina in Westport. That’s the perfect type of urban format fast...

Apparently there was a shooting in the lot behind Starbucks Aug. 14th. This person details the store response in a series of Tweets and references the recent closure. https://twitter.com/LexieStephen/status/1561857385232220160?s=20&t=i57J7wzFP8evd4akZkiqnw Yeah there's been a few shootings on t...

Re: Regional Transit Coordination
A major question with this corridor is co-mingling of UG and KCMO operating assistance. It isn't really done today, only on the margins. The next challenge will be actually reducing the travel time for such a long distance while maintaining access along the way. Great project, though! Dave is this ...

It seems that most of the site is not being bulldozed and redeveloped. A lot of this is renovation or owned by others
