Yeah, but you can buy it on every corner in every market. Even Wichita has better liquor license laws than KC.ignatius wrote: In NYC you still can't buy alcohol in a grocery store.
If anyone can give me one reason why every single restaurant shouldn't be able to serve booze, I'll give them a billion dollars.

There used to be good Mesican where the car dealer is near Terrace. Smoke burger is a unique concept and still vaguely Middle Eastern. They don't actually have burgers, but burger-flavored tobacco for use in hookahs. The Inside-Out tobacco is excellent, especially when you get a whiff of that blue c...

Re: Governor Nixon recommends eliminating Historic Tax Credit
TIFF and HTC's are not the same. Fang is correct, as is the report, of the economic impact. But all that aside, once you tear down a historic structure, you lose that forever. And I have absolutely no doubt that many of these old and important buildings that are part of our cultural fabric will not ...

Re: Repurposing closed schools in the KCMO Public School District
If you combine the loss of HTC's and the present commercial lending environment, you can bet that absolutely every old building that needs rehabbed will remain undeveloped and possibly torn down. This certainly goes for all of those old KCMSD schools. The State's short term gain will come at a cost ...

I would go with the 18-135 for sure. An extra $100 just isn't that much more. It of course depends on what you'll be shooting and your style. For me, the wider the better.

Could be. Like I said, I'm not sure how reliable the info is and it was just a rumor. But I do think it's odd they they left all their stuff out and it's wide open for anyone to just walk in and take it if they want. Is there any good stuff? Or is it just empty cans of Coors Light and packs of Ma...

Re: Kona Grill to Close???
I would argue that Kona has the best (freshest and biggest) sushi in town, at least without having to drive out to bumfuck. I can go in there at any time, no matter how busy they are, and almost always find a seat or two at the sushi bar and eat an awesome meal and be outa there in less than 30 minu...

Give them a break. They just opened up and haven't stocked all their shelves yet and are probably pretty busy with other things. Like getting ready for their grand opening. I remember meeting my folks there when I was home from college and as I walked in, they handed me a sport coat. All they said was, "here you go, sir." It was the skankiest, nastiest coat I've ever put on, and it was an extra large. Big, blue, 100% polyester.

Someone stole mine last month. And that's the 2nd time, my last van got hit about 3 years ago.
Ever since then, I've had fantasies about walking out my door and seeing someone's legs sticking out from underneath my van.
