Taking TIF money (or any tax subsidy or other incentive) comes with a lot of strings. "Free money" is never really free (unless you're a Pendergast). If they can make it work financially without the incentives, I think most developers would prefer to do without.

Lots and lots of people ride the 39 bus. I understand the appeal of lines bringing people into downtown, but we also need to be moving people across Midtown. I kinda feel like we need to focus a little on that before another N-S line. Sorry about getting off the Prospect topic.

A business that sells air filters probably shouldn't be in neighborhood that is trying to reinvent itself as a residential/commercial destination. It seems like the East or West Bottoms or some other industrial setting would be better for everyone and closer to her customers.
