Re: Phase 2 streetcar to UMKC
Having the phase 2 terminus at 51st/Brookside would give access to the Whole Foods too! I really hope this gets going. I'd love to see and ride all the way from City Market to UMKC!

Re: Old Federal Reserve (925 Grand)
#yaaas! Final two clearances have been approved. They should start the conversion for the 301 Room Embassy in August. Now, put a Dunkin Donuts and McDonalds in there!

Re: OFFICIAL: Port Authority Riverfront Project
From the permits issued and the land clearance, Union at the Riverfront should start its build out shortly. This will be exciting to see get off the ground. It's not going to be full service but wanted to provide a nice nightcap for guests. Rooms are really nice and I agree that its very modern. They ...

Re: Union Station
Union Station would be smart to work with some fast food restaurants (i.e. Wendy's, McDonalds, etc) especially with the KC Streetcar now stopping there.

Re: Prariefire at Lionsgate - large mixed use development
I don't understand how between State Line and Metcalf on 135th Street you can have Super Target, Walmart Supercenter, Price Chopper, Fresh Market, Sprouts and Hen House and expect them all to survive. Then you have food deserts in certain areas. Not right.

Gawd, I hope people see that converting this to Embassy Suites or Whatever upscale hotelier is worth the incentives. Just to clean up the pigeon poo on the South side.
