My friends in SF were always amazed when I told them I had a Dem governor, congressman and state legislator.  Of course, now I have none.

Sorry to hear about the chef change.  We were there last night and it was as great as I've usually found it.  Excellent food, good service and a great red hook.  We've always gone during the week, so I doubt I've been there past 9.  Probably less chance for drama.  I'm bummed.

Working there is the lonliest job in the world.

Our office got a personal phone call from Rudy Giuliani yesterday, inviting us to the event.  The guy was so excited, he wouldn't let me get a word in edge-wise before he hung up!
