BBQ WARS!

Bryant's ribs have disappointed me to the point where I won't really order them anymore, but there may be no better, more gutbusting meal for me than a brisket sandwich, side of fries, and side of pickles.  The only thing i order at Bryants is the sausage, it's the best stuff and i love how they ...

Re: The Worst Chain Restaurant in America

1. Applebee's - Food is always so salty or feels really fattening, even the soups and salads feel unhealthy 2. Long John Silvers - The two times i went into this place, all of my clothing smelled like grease, not sure how anyone can eat this junk 3. Cheesecake Factory - Food is not that great, menu ...

BBQ WARS!

I think i just had the best Gas Station BBQ in Jeff City called Lutz's, place was awesome, great pork and they even had homemade potato chips with your choice of 20 different flavors, i opted for the salt and vinegar.  Lines were pretty long but not to the point OK Joe's has been becoming recently. ...

Re: Food trucks in Kansas City.

yeah i was going to say, i have seen at least one Tamale Lady walking around with a cooler.  also, one time at the Hideout bar on Central in KCK, a guy was going door to door selling (raw) STEAKS.  i think bahua was tempted to get one. if a door to door tamale or steak Guy did this in overland park...

Re: OFFICIAL: Power & Light District

I would like to open one of these in the P&L or some other bar/college area, i think it could do very well.  This place is awesome, it's the cousin of Jimmy John's so the sandwiches are pretty much the same thing, i use to work at one in Minnesota, way better then JJ's, they serve you the inside gut...

Re: Another new Quik trip coming aoon

the Shell on Main (and maybe the Shell on Broadway too) is pre-pay only, even if you are using a credit card (wtf?).  huge pain in the ass.  what kills me is when there are not only lines for the pumps at the 44/Main QT, but lines backed up into the streets from people trying to get in.  QT could b...

Re: Another new Quik trip coming aoon

^^^^ that QT lot is one of the most frustrating places in all of midtown at certain times of day.  I avoid it at all costs.  I have never understood why folks pass up perfectly good, nearly empty gas stations (most with large convenience stores) in midtown but turn that one QT into an absolute madh...

Re: MLB Realignment

This will come as a surprise, but after the Red Sox and Yankees, the top three payrolls in the American League - are in the current Central Division . Don't understand why people complain about players salaries, it must be a jealous guy thing.  Some movie stars make 50-60 MILLION PER MOVIE but you ...

Re: MLB Realignment

My priorities would be: 1.  Move a team from the NL to AL so that teams in the AL West don't have a 9% better chance of making the playoffs than any team in the NL Central without playing a game You can't move a team from NL to AL because the schedules would be messed up, the reason why Milwaukee m...

Re: Plaza move-ins (ongoing)

People are mad about mall stores moving in, but not chain restaurants? Highwoods would probably put Olive Garden or Applebees in if they made them an offer Aren't most major touristy places full of chain places to begin with?  Times Square, Fishermen's Warf, Michigan Ave in Chicago, Universal City ...

You Tube Movies

if you go to www.youtube.com/movies you can rent movies and stream them from your computer.  The best part of all are the free movies.  They have some pretty solid free movies.  They have two that haven't even been released on DVD and they are free to watch, Unknown (Liam Nielsen) and Hall Pass, i'm...

Urban Beach Week- Miami Beach

Citizens want this 10 year unoffical party to stop but how could they end it without throwing around the racism card? Don't white kids do this same thing on South Padre/Fla Panhandle/Cancun every year, trashing the streets, etc. So if all of a sudden these Spring Break spots were filled with all bla...

Why do we have cops if they all they do is...
