I go to Jalepeno's, Salty Inguana, and Kokepeli's for my Mexican resturant food.   Sometimes Panzons and Mi Rancho.

Re: Best Buy and Jack Stack BQ

personally, I do not think there should not be another Best Buy down in south metro.  There are already 3 in Johnson County, one in Lee's Summitt, not sure what about northland.

Re: Oak Park Mall renovation + tenants (ongoing)

the mall just got a new tax incentive by charging more sales tax to pay for some of the renovations that the mall is embarking.  Right now, they are working on the barnes and Noble, and a new entrance to the mall at that location with going to make new entrances everywhere else.  They are in the mid...

Re: TSC Renovations

what pissed me off than anything is that my family season tickets seats are in that area, so I wonder where they are going to move us.   And of course next season, we will be in differnet seats anyway.  I sure hope the Royals let us fans pick what seats we can have for those who like my dad can not...

Re: 145 and metcalf circa 1991

My guess is, and this is merely a guess, is that its for horses. Used to be a huge restaurant out there called Joe's Barn . It was actually in a big old barn. Given teh size of the barn and that track, I'd say they were, at one point in time owned by the same person who could have raised trotters o...

Re: Olathe and 3 closed Italian eateries

A Churce huh? I knew I saw construction trailers in the parking lot of the old Rhodes furniture. Some idiot on here tried to tell me that was a construction trailer for the motel regardless of the fact it is nowhere near one of the motels. I personally think that Rhodes should had been turn into a ...

Re: Dismantling of Great Mall (ongoing)

Okay, let's re-open the Factory Outlet Mall in Lawrence, KS that sits on the banks of the Kaw River.  That was a beautiful location.  I used to go there to shop, and it was also relaxing to just sit on that outside patio they had, and watch the Kaw!  I was shocked and disappointed when I came back ...

Re: Shawnee Mission Hospital Expansion

I have more complaints against the billing, ER, and Maternity.  Nothing against the Surgey area.  My wife had her gallbladder surgey there, and we thought that went very well.  One of the best surgeons.  Just those three above we care less about.  My wife had a miscarriage, and we went to the ER the...

Re: TSC Renovations

Wow, didn't know capacity was temporarily going down to 32,000 this August. That's going to make it a tight squeeze when all those fans jam in Kauffman for the pennant run. what pissed me off than anything is that my family season tickets seats are in that area, so I wonder where they are going to ...
