Re: Kansas State Rebranding

It seems like the media overreacted. Schulz tweets like crazy normally. I think they're still working on standardizing the branding. There's stuff like IDs that are still printed with the old logo (the one that said "K-STATE" and had the full name below it), it's still on some websites, et...

I was going to post about that list being wrong... then I realized four of those teams didn't cover the spread.

Re: Louis Curtiss: The Frank Lloyd Wright of Kansas City

1311 Manheim is not at the top of the list at all (not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing), but after randomly checking some other ones, they seem to really like to write violations for it.

Re: Louis Curtiss: The Frank Lloyd Wright of Kansas City

I'm afraid there are many historically important structures on that list and we will consequently loose them forever. You would think there would be a way for the City to secure and mothball those structures until another solution could be sought. For what it's worth, here's the list (I assume this...

Re: NHL OR NBA, let the message board decide!!

Do you think this will end the good stream of concerts AEG has been supposedly hooking us up with? Afterall, someone could unite with Cordish and takeover AEG's contract for the SC and try harder in securing a team. Common ownership/management of a team/building may be the thing that gets KC a team...

Re: TIME TO FREAK OUT AGAIN ABOUT CONFERENCE REALIGNMENT! TH

Mizzou and A&M have already played ranked teams, TCU & WVU have not. But, they do seem good enough that they wouldn't have to wait for Missouri State to take out their starters so they can score a touchdown and they both could probably beat North Texas by more than 14 points. I'm not sure w...

Dude, before I even commented on anything, you called me "crazy". All I asked was for you to explain why you believed that, as well as others on this site to explain why they had so much derision for what I thought was a pretty benign, and fair, critique. You yourself even said that you a...

Re: Google picks KCK/KCMO for ultra fast fiber network

For what I consider West KCK, there's three adjacent fiberhoods disconnected from the rest of KCK and two loners on top of that. That's a lot more hopping around then just doing everything south of the Kansas River.

Levee trails are awesome. This seems like something that would cheap and easy to expand. Heck, I'd argue that letting people on it would make it a lot "safer" because you'd have plenty of eyes that could notice any problems.

The upstream states want to retain water behind the dams for their...
