agreed on boiling then pan frying in butter. growing up in pittsburgh (pa) we always had them served w/sour cream - is that typical/traditional? McGonigles carries them also.

I saw quite a collection of fake flowers in vases inside the italian place going in where papa keno's was (gregory and rockhill) - this does not bode well for them....

yep, good point - pretty much nothing. the proximity to sprint and the fact that it's a local place vs. that power and light place should be good points but they need to do a little advertising.

Waldo/Brookside - Good keg beer?
Does anyone know if 75th Street sells kegs? We're trying to find a decent keg beer - Boulevard sells 1/6 kegs and 1/2 but not 1/4. The only thing i can find in 1/4 kegs is bud/bud light, etc. Ideas?

Re: Reasonable Schooling Costs if living in brookside/loose park area?
our children also attend St. Elizabeth's - while we are members of the parish (versus tuition paying), there are many children who are not catholic. that's just a reality here in the Brookside/Waldo area. and, frankly, the catholic schools probably couldn't survive w/out the tuition paying familie...
