Does this look like a McMansion to you? 30,000 square feet, all brick, slate roof, with a guy worth $300 million living there? http://webarc.co.douglas.ne.us/dcassessor/photodisplay.asp?PARCELNB=2114031340 YOU don't live there.  Also we have plenty of very wealthy people like that living in STL ...

Re: Sex Offender Search
Omaha has no sex offenders in any of it's nicest neighborhoods. We also have some wealthier entire zip codes which don't have a single sex offender in it. Meanwhile, in midtown, the "urban" area, we have single city blocks with half a dozen offenders. You brag an awful lot about how gre...

Re: Complaining about Moderators
I can tell you are new here :). Warnings on this site are meaningless. Once flame wars start, moderator intervention will not stop them unless it's a lock. If I warn someone, 90% of the time its so people will quit complaining that I'm not doing my job. I think we need a new subforum for peop...

Re: Complaining about Moderators
^But seriously, nonsense flaimbait posts should be deleted. If you do this premptivley, and issue warning when people repost the same flaimbait deleted, then you could prevent thes flamewars. Just takes 5 minutes.... But instead you killed a thread for an in progress construction project....

Re: Complaining about Moderators
Ok, I gotta ask why you just didn't delete the nonsense posts out of the Busch III thread and post a comment saying to stay on topic instead of sending it to the dumpster. That was a valid thread with alot of good information on the first two pages of it. A little moderation could have kept it fro...

You can do this in the STL metro area too. You just have to hire a lawyer to plead you to a lower case(usually costs like $70). This law is quite normal.

Re: first-time homebuyer blues.
Are there any catches to this Acorn Housing thing? Sounds a little bit fishy to me. Can anyone who is a first time homebuyer qualify? There are many programs for low income first time home buyers. But they all have catches, mainly the recapture tax. Here is a link explaining it further. http://...
