Re: Two Light - 14th & Grand

those topiaries on that corner need to go. they make that intersection unnecessarily difficult to navigate for pedestrians.

i missed this, but ice house closed for the winter. reopening in march. kind of a bummer. they were one of the better patios in terms of distancing, imo.

Re: OFFICIAL - Artistry KC (19th and Oak)

this place's website and zillow listings say the address is 201 west 19th terrace, which zillow and google puts just north of SW boulevard on wyandotte street. mayhaps there's been an error?

They seem a bit behind schedule? Frankly, I'm surprised this isn't on a 10 year timeline. saw som...

Re: Real Estate Listings of Interest (Metrowide)

i'm slow on the uptake for this one. the bixby house is not only for sale, it's been totally gutted by what appears to be a foreclosure on "USREEB Realty Pros LLC" and/or 1 big red llc: https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/6505-State-Line-Rd-Kansas-City-MO-64113/2415821_zpid/ this is one of ...

Re: COVID-19 Casualties

i think i saw a charisse social media post that said they were going to press pause and reserve capital for a real reopening when things got closer to normal. my walking around impression of their business is that it's heavily reliant on business lunch traffic so it makes sense that they called it o...

according to @kcmikemahoney, bunch, o'neill, and robinson are boycotting today's T+I meeting until lucas removes loar from the committee chair post.

i never understood why loar was the chair of that even before she came out as anti-pedestrian and racist. now i extra don't understand it.

Re: Western Auto Lofts

have seen a few of these while we've been mildly condo shopping lately. it sounds like maybe the financials aren't in the best shape judging solely from comments from people in various places online from 2016-2019. that's a pure guess on my part, no independent confirmation. i'm not particularly sur...

i'm picturing florence's santarosa bistrot opposite two light: nice little airy place to grab a snack, a drink, or a meal that spills out onto a big green area with a dog run. potentially a convertible indoor/outdoor space so can play more like a walk up counter to enjoy around the park when it's ni...

they're supposedly fixing a leak or something in the green top. i have heard that people that live on the top apartment floor or two (the ones under the penthouse, although maybe in the penthouse too) have had pretty bad leaks, water coming in through ceiling/drywall. supposedly they're trying to fi...
