Re: 4711 Belleview

Que the pissed Plaza area people who won’t like the design because it’s too modern. And they're right. This isn't a good design for the Plaza. Atleast the other one gave a nod to the character. This would be amazing downtown. I'll take it over nothing- and atleast it's not really inside the Plaza- ...

Re: World Cup 2026 at Arrowhead?

If we loose, we learn. If we win, we win. At least we tried Exactly. Making it to this stage in the decision process is impressive itself. Obviously, it would be a letdown to not be selected. And being able to say you're one of the host cities for the largest sporting event the world has ever seen ...

They’re not doing themselves any favors but trying push for it with nothing. Get the people something to visualize.
They haven’t done any pushing for it publicly lol

Re: Old KCPS HQ - 12th & McGee

I would hope KCPS would be ok incentivizing their old property that is now a weed filled lot. All it takes is the developer meeting with them in advance and addressing their concerns. Why everyone doesn't follow the path of least resistance is beyond me. Because their proposed solution isn’t financ...

This is a pretty bad argument for Bunch if he just had 2 or 3 other people on the council he wouldn't be as shitty. No the guy is in over his head he literally has no clue what he's doing.

There was an advisory meeting this week. Streetcar or Bus modes. Likely that there will be more than 1 project that comes out of the study (ie. streetcar project and then a bus project).

Hard to name a major project, event, etc that stems from the Lucas era. Mac’s Armour and Main project would’ve been one, and technically is if it gets off the ground. The Riverfront soccer stadium is another. Katz is pretty major (because it merges old and new). 10th and Main. These were all announ...
