I'll say this and drop the topic; What if somebody is falsely convicted for a crime and put to death? If it's discovered they were innocent, it's too late. They're dead. It's just too permanent.

I can't imagine why there's any support for the death penalty in this country. Execution has always seemed absolutely medieval to me.

I absolutely love that the murals are being repainted! Very nice touch. As for the glass, it really doesn't bug me that much, and this is coming from an architecture snob. It matches well with the po-mo skyscrapers and the H&R Block building, which all have colored glass. It also gives a feeling...

That parking garage is just soul crushing. I hope it gets demolished or reclad, especially with pickwick across the street there. It looks like something they would build in DC to sustain a truck bomb.

I understand why you would hate the pollution, but the entire building? I think it's one of the city's best examples of art deco, better than the P&L building honestly.
