KU basketball: is there anything better?

the RPI and everything affiliated with it is a joke. you can't honestly sit there and tell me that kU has played the toughest schedule in the nation. with marquee road games as kentucky and....uh.... oh wait that's it. here's some other interesting RPI rankings. -gonzaga is the 10th best team in the...

AMAZING story involving the KC Thiefs & Wheel of Fortune

lamar hunt invested in this city when nobody else would. his deep entrences within the community were not handed to him, he has earned every bit of what he has. Wrong. He tried to move to New Orleans first, but couldn't get a deal worked out with that city to use the Sugar Bowl. He only landed in K...

It's Official, the people have made Allen Fieldhouse no.1!!!

jealous of what? a school who's athletic department really only cares about one sport? a school who screws over fans who have held season tickets for decades so they can make more money on said sport? an arena that is outdated and probably should be replaced in the somewhat near future, but won't be...

Re: I-70

i know people that go back to kc every few weeks for various reasons. 7 times in a 4 month semester isn't outrageous, especially when you consider going out and coming back at the ends of the semester.

*shrug*, i'd rather pay the gas taxes really, toll booths are just an inconvenience IMO.

Re: Lamar's good deeds

He wants the county to give him additional money just because he thinks he can. are you talking about the 80 mil they just announced last week? because if you are, that's not additional money. that's money so the lease doesn't default..the lease that the county signed. that money is to keep the sta...

wow, as a college student at mizzou i say thumbs down to this one.. if i have to pay everytime i want to go home i'd be real pissed, so would the 5000 other kids who go here that are from kc (even more if you add in the st. louis kids too If you're too cheap to pay the toll then just stay home and ...

Will KC ever see light rail?

*shrug*, is the plaza that far south (75th street)? i think it is but i've never really paid attention when i drive down there. i guess my idea that connecting your biggest travel hub to the rest of the city should be something that needs to be in there from the start just wouldn't fly. even if it's...

AMAZING story involving the KC Thiefs & Wheel of Fortune

lamar hunt invested in this city when nobody else would. his deep entrences within the community were not handed to him, he has earned every bit of what he has. now he's merely using these leverages to get what's best for hunt-midwest enterprises. nothing wrong with it, it's just not what's best for...

excuse me for not throwing the accolades eastward toward lawerence.

Will You Be Wearing Your RED This Feb. 11th?

say what you want about illegitimate children, nobody's here to condone that. but don't you think that if he was still living that he'd be just ignoring them. i have no idea how he actually treated his kids and neither do you, for all we know he fully planned on taking care of them but unfortunately...

Will KC ever see light rail?

i think what people up here didn't like was that they said it was too expensive to do it because of the mileage. telling me that you can't go to the airport, but can cover the same amount of track going elsewhere (besides the plaza) just doesn't fly personally. i wouldn't have voted for that plan no...

Will KC ever see light rail?

i know that my idea really discludes joco, and i think that with that initlal L to start, the joco line would connect. the more i rack my brain i'm pretty sure a joco line was an addition around the time the light rail thing was on the ballot. i'm not trying to be the "typical northlander"...

Will KC ever see light rail?

being a northlander myself, i was opposed to the (first i believe it was) proposal to light rail that just stopped at vivion road. i felt it was a clutered system that wouldn't work. i didn't get why it stopped at vivion, but (if my memory serves me right) went a fair amount southwest. that may have...
