Re: Mending the Heart of an American City
This is somewhat related but the Fortune Magazine Ad featuring KC has been published. I saw it in my office this morning and it's not too bad. Here's a link to the Fortune: New KC site but unfortunately the pdf file hasn't been loaded yet. I'm assuming their webmaster will correct it within the n...

Re: Legoland in Johnson County
i think this is great news for kansas city. i've never been to a logo land so i'm not sure what this thing looks like. does anyone have pictures?
all in all i'll have to admit the kc metro is doing a heck of a lot, with the water park, village west, downtown redevelopment etc..... go kc!

Re: OFFICIAL: The Legends at Village West
I'm glad to hear that the legends is doing so well. My guess is that it will do even better once the water park opens and drives more traffic in that direction.
If I were the owner of the Great Mall of the Great Plains I'd be very worried right now.

Re: Developer proposes twin condo towers on Grand (Wellington Place)
the wellington place design looks great and will no doubt look nice as part of the skyline. Â my only concern is that downtown kc has a lot of condo projects. Â will the market be able to sustain all of these new buildings?

Re: Crate & Barrel to fill the vacated Saks locale
my gut is that highwoods has someone lined up for the markshale building and hence the pressure to ask mark shale to move into the saks building. i agree that a barneys or crate and barrel would be ideal for this location though. here's a question for everyone. how do you think highwoods has done m...

Re: Overland Park Skyline...
OP does have a skyline... whats the area around 435 and Metcalf. Im pretty sure theres tons of buildings around there that break the tree line by quite a bit. Some of you guys seriously are pathetic, any spare minute in your life you spend cracking on Overland park. So OP doesn't have a skyline but...

I was on the Plaza yesterday with my friend walking Buster the puggle, and I noticed there were allot of vacant stores. What is burberry? burberry's an exclusive shop from great britain. there's o...

hey i was just looking at the renderings and noticed that there is a park built over the highway. does anyone know if that's still the case or is this just to make the renderings look nicer?

Re: H&R Block Construction Photos
the building's turned out pretty nice.
has anyone taken a picture from a distance? i'm curious how it looks as part of the skyline. my guess is that it looks fairly small when compared to one kcp and town pavilion.

Re: Plaza move-ins (ongoing)
Don't overestimate the size of Saks - that place has extremely tiny floorplates for a department store. Thats part of why the place was always such a joke - you would go to the men's department and they would be like "sir, why don't you have a look at one of our three pairs of slacks. . . &q...

Unfortunately today's KC business journal confirmed that KCK will not be getting the Nascar HOF.
