It was closed in 2010 as a way to right size the district. They had to many schools for the number of students.
Westport junior high has already been redeveloped into offices, the high school is under a plan to be turned into apartments

Kc needs to do way more on zoning in the northland, require sidewalks, and ban cul de sacs. They seriously need some kind of grid there are so many dead zones at the moment

What was the KCS plan? It was on the parking lot next to their building, it's not owned by KCS. The city owns in today but for years it was tied up in a family squabble over who owned it after the owner passed. Hopefully they do something with that, could sell it off to a developer and use the mone...

I think a trendy hotel would do quite well hear. Similar to the crossroads hotel. I definitely think the traditional five or four stars should stay on the plaza or downtown
