Re: Downtown needs larger police presence
It seems to me like most of the CBD is patrolled so heavily by rent-a-cops that police foot patrols after hours would be a waste of time. try getting those rent-a-cops to worry about anything else than their own building. and even though the CID swears they patrol east of grand, it still leaves som...

hmmm . . . when I looked at the Amtrak website before, it looked like it only ran from Boston to Providence in the morning. But now it looks like it runs all day. Thanks for the heads-up. i've found the results are better if you enter an actual date and time, especially on the NEC because there a...

I'd be surprised if JT is still touring in October. Hasn't that album been out for over a year? if he can still pack 'em in and make $$$, there's nothing stopping him. by the time you include international dates, many acts can tour well over a year before stopping. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Use_...

Hello all, I have been lurking around this site along time but never posted. :) Just wondering why Blue Gallery still has a for lease sign up? i'm sure it's an oversight. it has been confirmed by the gallery, michael smith, and the star that mr. smith will occupy that space. either an oversight or ...

i was just in columbus and when we walked past this development on high street we had no idea it was the cap, that's how excellent the design was. walk one block west, however, and you can totally tell... they could have focused on both sides. i'd like to see this kind of thinking used for I-70 and ...

you're looking for more than hourly service all day long? oh well, it's good to keep in your back pocket in case your flight gets delayed and you arrive after MBTA stops running (9 or 10 pm).heatherkay wrote: I looked into that, but it doesn't look like Amtrak runs at anything like a convenient time.

Re: OFFICIAL: Proposed KCK Casino
Downtown KCK would be an irrelevant place for the casino, as it is too close to the MO casinos. A location would be wanted that will cut off 15 minutes drive for JOCO gamblers. Indian Springs would fit the bill especially if they really wanted to do something for the eastern part of town. i think...

As a matter of fact, I think I'll mostly be flying into Boston on Midwest, then taking commuter rail to Prov. It turns out to be the same total travel time, but about $100 cheaper. Plus -- cookies! for now, anyway... don't forget that you can collect "miles" if you ride amtrak and the t...

Re: KCI Passenger Use Soars
KCI only has some very limited service to downtown and the Barry Road transit center. I seriously doubt that many, if any actual travelers use it. Those that do are the typical KC transit rider, service workers that don't have any other way to get to jobs at the airport. i have used #129 to get t...
