I have asked the downtown council about this multiple times and have gotten nowhere. Any kind of social media account for daily updates would be great.

It's generally petty crap from both cities, usually driven by sports. It's same crap when anything (sports, economy, politics, etc) comes down to Kansas vs. Missouri.

I wonder if any of this is politically driven. A lot of those major cities were losses debated defunding their police forces.

Another factor is likely cost of living in the core of some of the major cities.
