Re: 2012 Sporting Kansas City
Loving that Kei came back! Such an awesome guy. I hope he plays on Wednesday, the stadium will be buzzing waiting for him to come on. Sporting has sooo many options in their lineup right now He already had a Twitter Chipotle party. He is known to buy Chipotle for groups of people at the Plaza locat...

I was thinking the same thing the other day. I have seen a number of bad roads finally getting improved. Although it sounds like we live in the same area.

Re: City Center Square for sale
I was too lazy to see if this was posted elsewhere, but I just noticed a scrolling marquee from the Business Journal near the Starbucks entrance. Is this new? I like it a lot and wish the Star did something even more visible than this near the P&L. i don't believe it's new. they've had a versio...

I couldn't find the reasoning for that trade either. I won't be missing Arenas, but didn't we draft a FB? Seems random.mean wrote:In the age of the FB-less offense, we signed another one? Weird. Potentially good news for Charles, I suppose.

Re: Why Can't the West Bottoms Be Redeveloped....?
I have heard that a soccer field complex is pretty close to coming to fruition down in the west bottoms with some of Bill Haw's property. Not sure if this is on the KCK side or MO side. I only mention that b/c it could be where they are trying to put the USMNT training facility.

RE: the 3rd explosion @ JFK Library
NPR reporting it is likely a controlled explosion as officers were warning people another explosion would be occuring- it is unclear if they found a suspicious bag or actual explosives and detonated it.

Wow, thanks for linking to that report. Very interesting. I had no idea that they GPS tracked all bike rides. Very cool how much data they keep on their service (and make available) it's a $2000 bike, it's how they recover them. they let every rider see their usage in the same way as I recall Makes...

Re: Google picks KCK/KCMO for ultra fast fiber network
Cost estimates to how much Google is spending to build out network in KC area. $46 mil in KCMO and $38 mil into KCK. That includes the cost for building out past 149K homes- The final connections are not included in the cost b/c that cost is covered in the price of subscription or paid outright depe...
