Re: Calvert's Parcel Apartment Development

Re: OFFICIAL - Buck O'Neil Bridge

Maybe in a state with a backlog of poor or failing bridges even getting 1 plain major bridge and several more small bridges is more important than 1 major that is more interesting.

Already another tear down and vacant lot across the street. Wish MAC had got a hold of this.

On Saturday the Lions did an impressive drone light show over DT Detroit(even though it was an away game). Wish the Chiefs could do something like that.

College Baseball HOF going to a KC suburb strip mall has upset so many in Omaha that that town is now jumping on the Hate Mahomes and the Chiefs bandwagon.

Re: OFFICIAL - Buck O'Neil Bridge

Northbound traffic now crossing the old Broadway bridge will be switched to the new southbound BOB any day now. This will enable the old bridge to start coming down so the new northbound bridge approaches at the airport end can be constructed.

Those units facing into the small "courtyard" light well would be grim. Also strangely shaped units just so they can grab a narrow piece of sky.

Thank you for distilling the article. Even though it is twice as much land it's hard to see that the value of the land in EV is twice that of EC. Location, location, location.

Doubt this is any more of a problem than the part of Jackson County that lies north of the Missouri river at the old Liberty Bend on 291.

Re: Bike Lanes

What's the policy with city clearing snow from bike lanes? Looks cleared on Gilham, not at all on Armour. If a person is really dependent on bike to get around, and city policy is to encourage this, riders have a winter predicament.

Re: Downtown Baseball Stadium

Quit knocking the view from the EV site. Looking at buildings a few blocks away does not constitute a view. The NE view from EV is from the highest elevation in the loop with a panoramic view of the MO river valley, the most prominent geographical feature of the area. The view includes the valley an...
