Yea, somebody should go to this.  Does anybody even know what the bridge decks will look like and Wyandotte and Central?  Those also should have added features such as sidewalks and fancy railings.

I don't know, is soccer listed as "ok" in the bible?  Better check first, KS might outlaw soccer and then they will have an empty stadium!

Re: ATA American Royal disaster

LenexatoKCMO, your story could be a carbon copy of what happened a few years ago at the downtown air show.  Same exact thing, total and complete disaster.  I'm not sure it that was the ATA though, but still, we seem to have problems with moving a lot of people in the core during special events.  (or...

They will draw very well.  mark my words.  remember when I said the outlaws will never do anything, nothing?  I said they would fall before ever getting up and they did.  AFL will work here.  I for one look forward to it.  It's major league caliber and major league entertainment.  We play our large ...

Why would you tear that down, nothing new will be as interesting as that old building.  I do not understand this, especially in midwestern towns that have so many empty lots.

Which Macaroni Grill closed, I only remember the one on 95th & Metcalf, I have lost touch with JoCo south of 119th.

That Everetts in LS is always packed, but so is every single freaking resturaunt within two miles of I-470 between the Center and the 50.

East Jack is pretty sprawlly, but it's nothing like the I-70 run from Wentsville all the way to 270.  That is a total mess down there.

Re: RIP: Chapel Ridge Golf Course (Lee's Summitt)

Well, that course is pretty old, and I know nothing about golf, but I guess it's dated technically.  Plus it has a 4 lane arterial bisecting it. You still have Lakewood golf course practically next door and there are several new ones that just opened like Drum Farm on Lee's Summit Road and Adam's Po...

Re: City Walk: Lee's Summit baseball stadium and mixed-use center

is this project geared towards local retail needs?  Or is it trying to get a slice of the regional pie? Both, it will have a bit of everything.  I think when you say regional, it’s still pretty much Jackson county though or even southern Jackson County.  There is very little true regional “des...
