Re: OFFICIAL: Power & Light District

Does anyone else find ax throwing really creepy? Am I just old? Like everyone says Cordish is so selective about their tenants, and we get people throwing axes? It's a temporary fad that won't last long. Similar to the escape room craze that is already dying down. The only creepy part about it is s...

Re: Crown Center: urban disaster, shining star, or in-between

Converting all of the third floor over to halls was an extremely smart move on CC's part. That said, It'd be nice to see a marquee restaurant or experiential tenant take up the old 4th floor theater space. It's a shame that large of a space is just mothballed. Overall, It's the second floor that gi...

Makes you wonder why more chain fast food doesn't notice. I've been told by leasing in the past that most fast food chains won't even consider anything if a "drive-thru" isn't an option. That's a bunch of crap though. NYC, Chicago, Vegas and other high pedestrian areas are full of fast fo...

Re: Fantasy Retrofits: Barney Allis Plaza

I know it won't happen, but I'd love to see some buildings developed on some of this site. Maybe a big tower on the north that looks over the plaza. It could be tall so it breaks up the Marriott slab. I'm all for big plazas in the right context, but I don't think BAP needs the entire city block to ...

Yep. The abandoned hospital is in shambles. The interior is trashed or gutted by vandals and vagrants.

It's incredible that the building is so huge that there are still large portions of it that are essentially untouched https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UeOer-ZvOvk Yep, I once explored the building and got into some of those rough areas in the video fairly easily. Not sure they will ever be rehabilit...

Darn, I see the angled roof treatment going on so that means it's topped out. Was hoping it was going to go a little taller. It's a massive looking building from about every perspective and a great addition either way.

Not all sans serif fonts are Comic Sans. And that is not Comic Sans. Fair enough. But it has the look and feel of comic sans, which I find pretty half-assed regardless of the actual font. Yep. It's not Comic Sans, but still close enough to be childlike and amateurish. Must have used Microsoft Word ...

Is 4 Light postponed indefinitely or is it still happening? It hasn't been officially announced yet beyond some concept images. So neither?" Didn't a concept image some time ago slip out with a "W" hotel sign on it? I would guess a large hotel confirmation would speed up the process ...
