Re: KCI Flight Schedule Adjustments
Southwest -> Montego Bay is being discontinued after 8/3 Wonder if Jamaica travel is hurting right now. There is a safety advisory for travel to Jamaica. I don't really hear people talk about traveling to Jamaica as much, the DR has kind of taking over for Caribbean all inclusive and Cancun is basi...

Re: Is the Streetcar Extension bringing new development as promised?
I just don't understand why the streetcar is taking so long to build? I know you have to move utilities and things like that, it still seems like a horribly long project, i feel like you could easily get a block done per week but its more like a block per month at best. People in midtown are growing...

Re: Midtown Area Apartment Boom
Are u sure this is being torn down? Neighborhood has been complaining for weeks about this building because homeless have taken up residence in the garage area as well and breaking into the building and starting fires. A fence is probably not going to do much but maybe this is the half ass attempt t...

Re: Westport
Jukebox Hero already closed up after 5 months. It was in the large ramen space. I kind of forgot about this place. Didn't really get a ton of buzz or never really saw ads for it.

Hyperloop Company shutting down. Musk is starting to look kind of like a snakeoil salesman https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2023-12-21/hyperloop-one-to-shut-down-after-raising-millions-to-reinvent-transit Is this actually a different company? Another Dig IMO is that the Cayman Islands are not a place people from KC generally travel to unless its a cruise ship stop. The lack of all inclusive will make the island not very attractive to the common traveler in this area. Cayman Islands is definitely a higher income kind of place.

Re: Kansas City Needs a Proper Christmas Market
- Grand Street in front of T-Mobile Center. Milwaukee has had a Christmas market in front of the bucks arena for the past several years with tents for drinking beer, hot drinks, etc. Vendors had little huts, it was great but it closed up this year cause of lack of vendors. -the grassy part in front ...

Re: Misc Crossroads News
I commend places for trying, but no one has pulled off a fun adults holiday themed event yet here. I miss the bundled up markets in Chicago, waiting for friends with hot spiced drinks, music, and wintery food and crafts. Everyone here really hibernates for a few months. It feels like a real missed ...

I always thought HA should have been the one to merge with Alaska instead of Virgin Virgin would have probably just went out of business on its own. HA/AS do have a lot of overlapping Hawaii routes so it will be interesting to see what happens to those.

This year and last year the games are in the afternoon Weds and Thurs (Thanksgiving) broadcast on CBS sports Network. In previous years it was always at night ...

I never understood why Rhine-Ruhr (Cologne, Dusseldorf, Essen, Bonn) region has barely, if any nonstops from the US? It's one of the most populated areas in all of Europe and it's a major business area, makes no sense to me.

Schipol is great if your connecting, it's miserable if your are departing or arriving in AMS. It's severely understaffed. It can take an hour getting thru customs and even longer in summer. It’s got fantastic connections to the city and region once through customs, though. I’m a huge fan of that si...

Big-time playoff match between Sporting and STL City incoming. Didn't see that coming at the beginning of the season. Strange and kind of frustrating that the first game of the series is Sunday at 9 PM CST. Will it be broadcast locally or only on Apple TV/MLS Pass? It's just a one game playoff, no ...
