it's a pretty narrow area, if talking about the strip to the north of the highway and right by grand. probably more than 10 feet wide across, but i'd wager less than 15. doesn't seem so useful that it warrants fencing it off, especially once accounting for whatever you lose some of that to some kind...

zoomed in on this rendering and find it mildly interesting that what looked to be patios inside the frame on some of the units appear to actually be bottom-half glass walls with some kind of a sliding door or window, effectively creating a huge opening for fresh air into the living space. i haven't ...

doesn't streetcar to the riverfront fix that? less parking needed right next to it. can park along streetcar line wherever and get dropped off as close or closer to the festival than the parking spot would have been. plus people that live there can hop on the streetcar to get out to grocery store or...

i was surprised to see that sidewalk gone this morning, too. they blocked it off mid last week but seemed like more or less surface work as of either thursday or friday, then poof!
