private equity buyout. that's my prediction. see chrysler. no one wants another messy merger since sprint's assets are strong but the execution has always sucked. google is a good alternative path.

i heard from a realtor today that walnut towers (8th & walnut) may be going condo. other than quality hill, it's the last of the big rental properties downtown that aren't part of the renaissance.

IMO, all that needs to happen is resolution of the chastain lawsuit and presentation of a final plan that has consensus from all stakeholders (ATA, KC, NKC, MoDOT). if it doesn't pass, there is definitely enough momentum to tweak the plan and try again. the sky is not falling.
