I stopped in this weekend just for a quick drink to check the place out. It's a nice space so I hope it works out. One thing that's kind of cool is that the courtyard (which is covered by the liquor license) is smoke-free too. If you want to smoke, you have to go up the stairs to the sidewalk.

Downtown hotels are now getting away w/out much parking if any. Many who visit don't rent a car. Not sure if a 'luxury' hotel can pull it off but will be interesting to see how they play this. From my experience, higher end customers are more likely to fly into a city and more likely to Uber around...

With all the work they did to get it spruced up for the WW1 centennial, I'm surprised it looks this bad already. Though I can honestly say that it's been a very long time since I have noticed any of the fountains actually running.

There are apartments currently under construction, but that's the only thing I've noticed recently.
